The gift of organization

My mom gave us several gifts for Christmas this year that will help us to organize and make life simpler.

1. First up is the Easy Stack from Vacu Vin. I think it is sold at the Container Store. It saves room in the fridge and works so much better than those crazy contraptions that roll cans. We tested ours out with a mixture of soda cans and root beer bottles and it works like a charm.

2. Next is the Wine Cooler, also from Vacu Vin. With this baby you don't have to use up precious fridge space with bottles of wine or wait hours for it to chill. Simply keep this in your freezer and take it out to chill a bottle in just five minutes! It hardly takes up any space and works like a charm. It also keeps the wine cool so you don't need an ice bucket, leaving you with more cabinet space!

3. We also got a Handy Hold All that can hang over a door to hold purses, bags, scarves, and more. It's made by All For Color. It's a strip of fabric with loops that snap. Ours didn't work on the door of our closet because the door is too narrow. With the weight of the bags, it leaned forward so the door wouldn't close. So, I removed the hanger, stuck a nail in the wall, and it was good to go! I'm very excited about having a storage solution for my bags and purses.

Thanks mom! I'm really digging my useful gifts.

What are your favorite things to help you save space and get organized?
